Steamship Virginia V Foundation
Originally built on the
beach in Kitsap County, an part of the 'mosquito fleet' in Puget Sound,
the Virginia V is one of the last working steamships. Visit this site to

The Lady Washington
Washington's own 'tall
ship', the Lady Washington is based in Gray's Harbor, Aberdeen,
Washington. She is a replica of a ship that plied the Northwest Waters in
the late 1700's.
The Schooner Zodiac
Headquartered in
Bellingham WA. this 127' Two-masted gaff rigged schooner is available for
charter.
The Schooner Adventuress
A Gaff Topsail Two-masted
Schooner based in Port Townsend, WA. The Adventuress is used for
environmental educational programs. She sails the waters of Puget Sound
with one of the most breath-taking sail plans of any sailboat in the
sound.
S.V. Cutty Sark
A 52' Ketch, the
Cutty Sark is based at the Capt. Whidby Inn on the shores of Whidby
Island's Penn Cove. Captain John Colby Stone, the Proprietor of The
Captain Whidbey Inn provides charter sailing experience in Penn Cove and
beyond.
The Schooner Sophia Christina
Built in 1983,
the SOPHIA CHRISTINA is a beautiful 62 foot overall wooden schooner
modeled after an 1870's Boston pilot schooner. The Sophia Cristina is
based in Anacortes, WA. and is available for charters.

The Northwest Steam
Society
The Northwest Steam
Society, a non profit volunteer organization, was formed in 1973 for the
mutual benefit of Steam Enthusiasts in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Membership is open to anyone interested in Live Steam as a hobby. The
membership's interests include steam: boats, trains, traction engines,
stationary equipment, automobiles, and models; the most active being those
with steam boats.
Northwest Seaport Maritime Heritage
Center
The Seattle Northwest
Seaport Maritime Heritage Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to
the preservation and interpretation of the maritime heritage of Puget
Sound and the Northwest Coast, and to the development of maritime-based
educational programs and opportunities for the broad community. The center
is home to several historic ships including Wawona, the largest three-masted
schooner ever built in the United States.
