The Forecastle, or Focsle, is the forward section of a vessel reserved for the crew's quarters. If you have an interest in joining our 'crew' you have come to the right place.

Membership Application

The Mukilteo Yacht Club was founded in 1998. We are a young and fast growing club dedicated to those who wish to enhance their enjoyment and knowledge of boating and the water. Our membership consists of a wide spectrum of people from avid boat enthusiasts, to non-boat owners and a whole bunch in between. We promote boater safety and education to help our members have enjoyable boating experiences. Foremost, we are all about having fun! If you would like to attend a meeting as a guest, give us a call at the number listed below.

We're an Active, Cruising Club that conducts a cruise almost every month. We cruise to destinations such as Oak Harbor, Port Townsend, San Juan Islands and other destinations in and around Puget Sound. We also have event cruises like a fishing derby, a poker run and an evening Fireworks cruise on the 4th of July. Our monthly general meetings are held in the historic Mukilteo Garage and are preceded by a social hour. They offer an opportunity for a mid-week night out where you can socialize with other members and become informed about club activities, boater safety and other related subjects.

Membership Procedures consist of completing the membership application, having it signed by a sponsoring member, and submitting your payment for the initial fee and first year pro-rated dues. Our initiation fee is $100.00 and annual dues are currently $150.00 per year. Our dues year runs from January 1st through December 31st. Your application will be reviewed and confirmed by the Board of Trustees. When approved your membership card and other club materials will be mailed to you and any other co-applicant in your household. If you have any questions concerning membership please call Sean Robinson at 206-617-1665 or email him at seanr@cbic.com

General membership meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of the month beginning with a 6:30 PM social period and a 7:30 PM meeting. The meeting place is the Mukilteo Garage at 807 2nd Street in Old Mukilteo. Exceptions to the 4th Thursday schedule include November when it is the 3rd Thursday (due to Thanksgiving) and December when the meeting is supplanted by the Annual Club Christmas Party.
